I had a serious post planned that was heartwarming and sentimental. A nice way to restart the blog.
All of that went out th window with a knowing look from the guy swimming next to me. 5:55--kids lessons are almost up. 6:00 PM--time for the ladies water aerobics
The relative calm of the pool water turned into a scene from The Poseidon Adventure (the original with Shelley Winters, Gene Hackman and Carol Lynley==not the remake). The waves are so violent that I am knocked from my lane into the next guy's lane. But he understands, it is a force we cannot control.
Of course, the triathlete thinks , "Race conditions--Excellent !!!".
None of this will help me in the Flying Pig Marathon--more about that later
