Good luck Ironman Tom. Whether you finish or not, just to have trained for the darn thing is pretty freaking IMPRESSIVE!! Congrats, I am sure you will do well. I will be thinking about you and David this weekend. I am tired just thinking about it now! A few things to think about when the going gets rough...raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens...Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens...the Emerald City, it's closer and more beautiful than you think...riding bikes in the park with the wife and kids very leisurely...the smell of fresh cut grass...the view of Cincinnati when coming down the cut in the hill on I-75...dancing at my wedding that is in 3 months...cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels... remember, bubbles always go up when under water...a YUMMY bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich with LOTS of mayonnaise, :O)... butterfly kisses...silver white winters that melt into spring... just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down...run Forrest, run...what lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
